The Caesar salad, a timeless classic, has captivated taste buds for over a century. Invented by Caesar Cardini in the roaring twenties, this iconic salad has evolved into a global phenomenon. Its simple yet elegant combination of crisp romaine lettuce, creamy dressing, and crunchy croutons has made it a staple on menus worldwide.

But what if we told you we could take this classic to new heights? By infusing the traditional Caesar dressing with the bold flavors of Momo’s Michelada Mix, we’ve created a spicy and refreshing twist on this beloved dish. Thank you Garrett!


Momo’s Southwest Caesar Salad

WHAT YOU NEED
  • ½ tbsp Momo’s Michelada mix

  • ½ cup mayonnaise 

  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan 

  • 2 cloves of garlic minced

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • 3/4 head of romaine lettuce washed and chopped

  • 1 red bell pepper chopped

  • Croutons or tortilla crisps

  • Parmesan 

  • Juice of 1 lime

HOW IT'S DONE
  • Add Momo’s, mayonnaise, anchovy paste, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Parmesan, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper then whisk together. Set aside.

  • Prepare the salad. Wash your romaine lettuce head then chop. Transfer to a large bowl.

  • Chop red bell pepper then add to the lettuce. Grate a little more Parmesan over the salad. Add croutons then pour all of the Momo’s Caesar dressing over the lettuce. Mix well and enjoy! Serve as a side or add protein and eat as a meal!
