Momo's Beer Can chicken (The Best Chicken Recipe ever)

What You Need

  • 1-2 cups Momo’s Michelada mix

  • Whole chicken 

  • ½ lemon

  • Italian dressing

  • Mexican lager

  • 8-10 cloves of garlic 

  • Jack Daniels Steak seasoning 

  • Beer can chicken holder

How It's Done

  • Place the whole chicken in a large container, separate the skin and season generously with Jack Daniels steak seasoning (both sides). Remove the skin from the cloves of garlic and place 4-5 under the skin on both sides of the chicken.

  • Pour ½ cup Momo’s, whole bottle of Italian dressing, ½ a lemon and season with more Jack Daniels steak seasoning then cover. Refrigerate for 12-24 hours. 

  • After the chicken is marinated, drink half of the Mexican lager (or pour it out if you’re not of age) and place in the beer can holder. Fill the remainder of the beer with Momo’s. Place the chicken on top of the beer can holder on a baking sheet. 

  • Cook in the oven (preferably smoker, my chicken was too tall) at 325 degrees for 2 ½ to 3 hours or until 155 internal. Turn the oven to broil and let the chicken cook for 5-10 minutes! Remove from the oven and let rest under some foil for 15 minutes before carving! Carve into a very juicy chicken and enjoy!
