Josh, our resident maestro of alchemy, shared his inspiration for this unique cocktail:


"In a restaurant, I learned a lot from our kitchen and applied those lessons to my craft. One of those lessons was about contrast and melding different components of the same ingredient. Momo's Michelada Mix includes roasted cucumbers, and I figured a cucumber spritz would be a great way to elevate that side of the mix. A tiny amount of simple syrup helps to enhance the grapefruit, and voila... the Momo's Cucumber Spritz was born."

What you Need:

  • 4 tbsp diced cucumber (60 ML)

  • A hefty grapefruit slice

  • Ice

  • 1.5 oz vodka (45 ML)

  • 0.5 oz Momo's Michelada Mix (15 ML)

  • 0.25 oz simple syrup (7 ML)

  • 4 oz bubbly (120 ML)

How it's Done

  1. Muddle the cucumber and grapefruit slice in a glass.

  2. Add the vodka, Momo's Michelada Mix, and simple syrup.

  3. Stir gently (don't beat up the grapefruit too much!).

  4. Top with bubbly.
