There's no such thing as a Sunday brunch that doesn't benefit from a delicious Bloody Mary, but we would argue that a Momo's Bloody with just the right blend of citrus and spices would be even better. Created in the traditional way, but using the tangy and delicious Momo's you have come to know and love with your favorite lager, a Momo's bloody mary is a new twist on this old classic.
Momo's "Bloody" Mary
What you need:
2 oz. of your favorite spirit (Vodka, Tequila or Mezcal are all great options)
3 oz. of Momo's Michelada Mix
Ice
Optional: Rim Salt, Bacon, Celery, Cheese Stick, Olives, Cheese Burger...ETC.
How it's done:
If you are rimming the glass with anything go ahead, we recommend salt or Tajin. Fill a 9-12 oz. cocktail glass with ice.
Measure 2 oz. Vodka, Tequila, Mezcal or your favorite spirit into the glass.
Add 3 oz. of the one of a kind Momo's Michelada mix to the glass.
You will want a good dilution so we recommend adding a small amount of water to vigorously stirring to promote melting of the ice.
Garnish with whatever floats your boat. It's okay to keep it simple with olives and celery or to live on the wild side with bacon or shrimp. The sky's the limit.
Not only is Momo's Bloody mary a great twist on a classic cocktail, but Momo's is always tomato free. That means that our friends who don't tolerate tomatos well don't need to be left out at Sunday brunch, or any time when the mood for a bloody strikes.
Try it out, and let us know what you think in the comments. We'll be back with more creative ways to use Momo's soon.
