Spice Up Your Lunch: Chef Garrett's Michelada Egg Salad Sandwich with Momo's Mix

This week, we're taking a classic comfort food and giving it a fiery twist! Chef Garrett has whipped up a Michelada Egg Salad Sandwich that's anything but ordinary, featuring our signature Momo's Michelada Mix. Perfect for a quick lunch or a casual Sunday Supper, this recipe is a flavor explosion you won't want to miss.

Chef Garrett's creation is a delightful blend of creamy, tangy, and spicy. The Momo's Stupid Rim Salt adds a unique savory kick, while the pickled jalapeños and Momo's Michelada Mix bring the heat. The avocado adds a rich creaminess, and the shallots and pickles add a nice crunch and tang.

WHAT YOU NEED


  • 2 tsp Momo’s Stupid Rim salt

  • 5 soft or hard boiled eggs

  • ½ diced shallot

  • 8-10 pickle slices

  • 5-6 pickled jalapeño slices

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise 

  • 1 tbsp sour cream

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • ½ avocado



HOW ITS DONE

  • Boil 5 eggs. 6-8 minutes. Remove and let cool then remove the shells.

  • Dice the shallot on a large cutting board. Add pickles, boiled eggs, jalapeño slices, and the avocado then chop and mix all the ingredients. 

  • Once consistent add all the remaining ingredients and give it another chop and mix until consistent. 

  • Toss on a slice of sourdough and enjoy!
