The Tropical Shandy Michelada

This week on Episode 2 of creative cocktails with Josh, we learn about the Shandy, a classic beer cocktail with a long history around the world.

A shandy is meant to be enjoyed with family and friends, like most beer, but also has quite a fun spot as it’s a great base for other flavor. Adults and kids alike. Australian bartenders would serve the whole family and vary their recipes depending on the age and intoxication of the patron (pun intended). I have been loving diving into this new world of beer cocktails. Alongside that journey I have also noticed tropical flavors go perfect with Momo's.

Naturally, I went ahead and made a beautifully balanced pineapple shandy Michelada. The Momo’s acidity cuts through the sweetness of the pineapple while the very minimal amount of simple and fresh lemon juice tie it all together. The recipe allows for only 6oz of beer, so make 2 and share with a friend!
